I got a postcard from a casino that says I have 2 complimentary rooms for signing up to the club. Is it a scam?
It has printed in small letters " complimentary rooms offered as a courtesy based on your expected level of play; failure to play to offer levels may result in revocation of offer."
It doesn't state my expected level of play anywhere.
It's not a scam. They expect you to maintain the level of play that you played at on your previous trips to the casino. They're willing to front you the room assuming you will play at those levels. If you do, they'll send you more offers. If you don't, they'll stop sending offers.
Either way your room will be comped as shown on the current offer. I get these promotions all the time. Sometimes I use them and play and sometimes I don't play. They honor the free room either way.
